Newport is a resort town with many hotels and apartments.  During the high season, these can be expensive.  In addition to local hotels and apartments, regatta organizers can offer other housing options to competitors - rooms with local families, apartments with 6 - 8 other competitors.

Regatta housing is available from August 14 - 20.  Rooms with local families and university housing are for competitors only.  International teams and younger competitor have priority.
