Competitors should request a charter boat as early as possible.  The cost of charters will be $100 - $500.  The cost largely depends on the transportation expense of the boat to and from Newport.  The fee does not include sails.  All teams borrowing or chartering boats must purchase charter insurance from SCIRA USA for $40.

Teams interested in participating in regattas this winter in Miami and the Women's Circuit may request a charter for the season.  These charters are very reasonable, but limited. The boats will be transported together as a fleet from Miami, to Annapolis, and then to Newport for the summer, with a trip to the East Coast Championship in Boston during July. Transportation costs will be shared.
