Sail Newport to Host Women's Snipe Worlds

Sail Newport, one of the nation's largest public sailing facilities will be host to international women Snipe sailors this coming summer. In addition to the Women's Snipe Worlds, Sail Newport will also host the Volvo Ocean Race and the International 420 World Championship.

A favorite spot among one design racers, Sail Newport is located in beautiful Fort Adams State Park on Newport Harbor, surrounded by beautiful mansions and the famous New York Yacht Club. The Sail Newport

site includes a new first class international sailing center, dinghy park, two launch ramps, and a sand beach. Walk a little further in the park and you will come to the historic fort with a stunning view of the Newport bridge and Narragansett Bay. The piers along the park are home to tall ships, classic yachts, and modern racing machines. You will find Fort Adams is a sailor's paradise.
